See the workings of a motorbike engine as it is dismantled and reassembled by Defence Force mechanics. Learn about painting, tools, tips and safety. Try your hand at tiling or give bricklaying a go. Get the basics on working with wood including joinery, finishes and selecting the right tools for the job.

For professionals and serious enthusiasts the Advanced Program is the perfect forum for upgrading skills. Fun and informative workshops are held daily covering the show categories of Woodwork, DIY and Auto & Metalwork. Get the lowdown on welding techniques and safety, and then see how a spark of creativity can turn metal into sculptures, work benches and more.
