It's shed heaven!
Hands-On Expo Fri 13 - Sun 15 Nov

 
RNA SHOWGROUNDS, Brisbane open 10 am - 5 pm daily.

The Hands-On Expo is shed heaven with hundreds of power tools, specialist finishes, raw materials and accessories.  Pick up some know-how and expert advice at free workshops & seminars on woodwork, DIY, auto & metalwork for both learners and experienced handy people.

Get skilled up at free seminars and demonstration including Richard Vaughan, furniture designer & judge of the New Inventors showcasing an innovative foldaway table design.  Learn how to build a sturdy workbench with Bruce Bell and get tips on welding techniques.  See Peter Kozina shape and form metal to build the bones of a lizard sculpture at a work in progress workshop.   Try your hand at making a WWII Army AM Radio or get the basics on DIY plastering, tiling & painting.

Parked up an on display are a '66 Blue Mustang Coupe Racing Car, British Jensen Sports Car and more classics.  Plus demonstrations on cutting rust out of car bodies and work in progress car restorations.
